Drake’s “Fake Love” Hits One Billion Streams, Extending His Record-Breaking Streak

Drake might be the biggest rapper ever.

Despite ongoing debates about his dominance in hip-hop, Drake continues to prove his staying power. While some speculated that his career was in decline following his high-profile battle with Kendrick Lamar, the numbers tell a different story. Not only was he among the most-streamed artists of 2024—without releasing a solo album—but his joint project with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, pulled impressive first-week numbers. Now, the Toronto superstar has reached yet another historic milestone.

Drake’s 2017 hit “Fake Love,” featured on More Life, has officially surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. This marks his 23rd track to achieve this feat, further solidifying his status as the rapper with the most billion-streaming songs in history.

Meanwhile, his latest releases continue to dominate. “Nokia” has already amassed 92 million streams in just over a month, while “Die Trying” has surpassed 64 million streams. With numbers like these, it’s safe to say that Drake remains an unstoppable force in the music industry.
