Bossman D Low and Gucci Mane are cut from the same trap cloth.
BossMan Dlow has slowed down slightly—but after his dominant 2024 run, who could blame him? Last year, it felt like you couldn’t walk into a gym, hop in a car, or scroll a playlist without hearing one of his tracks. He even landed a feature with none other than Ciara—yes, that Ciara. Now, in 2025, BossMan is back with his biggest track of the year so far: “Hit,” featuring none other than trap legend Gucci Mane.
From the moment the beat drops, you know it’s tailor-made for Gucci. It’s a cold, classic trap instrumental—evoking flashbacks to when Gucci had a wock belly and his closet looked like a highlighter aisle. BossMan Dlow steps in first, delivering his signature carefree style—unbothered flow, slick flexes about pulling bad women, and nods to his respect in the streets. There are even flashes of Gucci’s influence woven into his verse and the chorus.
Then, Gucci hops on and sounds like vintage Gucci. He slides over the beat with ease, dropping hilarious punchlines and casually flexing the way only Big Guwop can. It’s the kind of performance that reminds you why he helped define a whole era of trap.
With a catchy hook, icy production, and a no-pressure vibe, “Hit” feels like a low-stakes flex session from two artists who know exactly who they are—and are having a blast while reminding the rest of us.
