Kanye West Praises Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Performance

Kanye is all over the place.

This past week, the NFL took an unexpected L, as it was overshadowed by two seismic events that had the internet in a frenzy: Luka Don?i?’s shocking trade to the Los Angeles Lakers and Kanye West (Ye) delivering one of the most unfiltered Twitter rants in recent memory.

Amid Ye’s social media firestorm, a resurfaced clip caught attention—one where Ye boldly claimed he’s the only rapper crazy enough to beat Kendrick Lamar in a battle. Then, following Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance, Kanye had more to say—this time, with surprising praise.

Appearing in a dimly lit car, speaking through what might be an iPhone 7, Ye declared Kendrick’s performance the best since Michael Jackson’s iconic Super Bowl show. He commended the setup and production, questioning why some had mixed reactions. However, in classic Kanye fashion, he didn’t stop there—pivoting to a political stance, blaming people for using Black artists in moments like this.

While Ye’s take on Kendrick’s show might hold weight, after his latest series of rants, it’s unclear how many are still tuned in to what he has to say.
