2 Chainz and Lil Yachty Link Up for “Sista Wives”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

2 Chainz and Lil Yachty both go dumb in this track.

2 Chainz (aka Tity Boi) is stepping into the film world with his upcoming movie Red Clay. While details about the plot and cast are still under wraps—including who his love interest might be—anticipation is building. To get fans ready, he’s dropped two new singles: “The ATL Experience” featuring The Isley Brothers, and his latest, “Sista Wives” with Lil Yachty.

Driven by a beat that’s hard as hell—but borderline annoying with its fly-buzzing-around quality—”Sista Wives” still manages to slap. Why? Because both rappers show up and show out.

Lil Yachty brings his signature “talk rap” cadence, sounding laid-back and conversational, while 2 Chainz delivers with a little more urgency. Together, they trade bars about flexing expensive items, brushing off haters, dodging distractions from meaningless flings, and hanging with more jackboys than Travis. Their chemistry is undeniable, and they both glide through the track like they know they’re cooler than the other side of the pillow.

Sidenote: Sister Wives is such a good show.
