Tory Lanez Returns With Dual Singles “I Might” & “Same Way”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

OK, how is Tory Lanez doing this?

If there’s one thing you can’t question about Tory Lanez, it’s his unwavering dedication to music. Despite his current legal situation, Tory continues to flood the streets with new music—from behind bars and beyond. This week, Lanez returns with two brand new singles: “I Might” and “Same Way,” showcasing the duality that fans have come to expect from his double-feature drops.

“Same Way” delivers a softer, more emotional vibe. With semi-passionate vocals and a melodic, radio-friendly hook, Tory dives into the complications of cheating—painting both sides of the story with vulnerability and a smooth delivery. This track is tailor-made for mainstream appeal, striking a balance between catchy and sincere.

On the flip side, “I Might” brings out the grittier version of Tory Lanez. Set to a dark, thumping beat with menacing undertones, he delivers sharp, fast-paced bars filled with braggadocious lines about money, women, and dominance. His aggressive tone and relentless flow are a reminder of the energy he’s been known for since his early days—and, yes, it gives off the same energy as when he pulled up on Travis Scott backstage.

Check out both “Same Way” and “I Might” below.
