ian has dropped at least three hits before Joel Embiid has reached a conference final.
ian is steadily building an impressive catalog, and whether his critics like it or not, he’s beginning to prove he’s more than just a viral face. While even Tyler, The Creator once joked that ian looks like he’s cosplaying a rapper, there’s no denying his growing talent—especially when it comes to beat selection and knowing exactly how to ride the wave he creates. His latest release, “Get To It” featuring Nino Paid, is another bold step forward.
Fueled by a hard-hitting, trap-friendly instrumental that would shake speakers in any bando in the country (yes, even South Dakota), “Get To It” finds ian flexing with confidence. He raps about cutting ties with disloyal women, self-medicating to stay sane, embracing a hustler’s mindset, and being ready to compete at a high level. His delivery is sharp and energetic, especially in the catchy hook that ties the track together.
Nino Paid follows up with a slower, more laid-back verse that highlights his rise and taste for high-end fashion. While his energy doesn’t quite match ian’s intensity—bordering on 21 Savage levels of monotone—it adds a contrasting layer to the song’s dynamic.
Altogether, “Get To It” is one of those trap bangers that will definitely get stuck in your head.
ian is good, y’all. Stop hating.
