Lil Wayne – Tha Carter VI (Album Preview)

Lil Wayne still has a lot left in the tank—you can hear it every time he drops a guest verse. His lyrical agility, clever punchlines, and effortless flow still appear like clockwork. However, when it comes to full-length albums, the consistency hasn’t quite matched his mixtape and feature run. In fact, it’s wild to realize that his last major studio album, “Funeral,” dropped all the way back in 2020.

Even so, if Weezy decided to walk away from music today, he’d be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. His influence is undeniable, and his catalog already includes more classics than most rappers could dream of. But with the announcement of “Tha Carter VI,” we can’t help but ask the question: Is this the final chapter in his legendary “Carter” series?

If it is, will he go out with a bang?
