Kodak Black Calls On Gucci Mane & Bruno Mars For “Wake Up In The Sky” (Review & Stream)

Even though I knew this collaboration was coming, I still didn’t think it will actually happen.

There was a lot of hot records that released this Friday, but none of them is quite like this one. “Wake Up In The Sky” is powered by pop sensation, Bruno Mars, and he blesses us with this infectious hook that has him pimping his way to the finish line. From there, Gucci Mane blesses the track with nothing but sly words, soothing the mind of what I am assuming is a stripper. Kodak closes things out with a verse at the end that sounds slightly smooth, but also a bit gritty; in other words, he somewhat acquiesced to what the song was all about. Nonetheless, I f**k with his verse a lot.

This song will be played every single night I’m preparing to go to the club.

OVERALL RATING (4.5/5)
